Alison Becker is a writer/comedian/producer/director/actor. She is the Head Writer for Steven Spielberg’s “Tiny Toons” reboot for Warner Brothers Animation. But you might know her because she played Shauna Malwae-Tweep, the longest running guest star on NBC's "Parks and Recreation."
Becker’s improv comedy expertise has allowed her to be tapped for the best improvised shows on television, including “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “The League,” and “Murderville.” She’s also had roles in countless other comedies, including “New Girl,” “The Unicorn,” "Californication," "Unstable,” “Kroll Show,” “Lucifer,” “LA to Vegas,” “Adam Ruins Everything,” “History of the World, Part 2” and many, many more.
Alison sold a feature to Amazon Studios with her Emmy Award-Winning writing partner Kimmy Gatewood, and another to Comedy Central with Emmy-Nominated Erin Gibson. Becker has produced pilots for TruTV and My Damn Channel, is currently developing three feature scripts. She wrote, produced and starred in a short film, “Control,” that became a festival darling.
You may also remember her as the VJ of the weekly "Top 20 Countdown" on Vh1, or as the host of Fuel TV's "The Daily Habit" and several shows on Fuse. Or you may know her from "Dating Rules from My Future Self” with Shiri Appleby, College Humor’s Batman series with Pete Holmes, ESPN’s "Mayne Street" with Kenny Mayne, or from some classic Funny or Die videos, including playing opposite Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy's girlfriend. Alison has been involved with the Upright Citizens Brigade theatre for over 20 years, and she has been a member of four house teams, both improv and sketch.
In addition, Alison has been hired as a celebrity host for prestigious live events, corporate and brand affairs, panels, award shows, and fundraisers.
